Ladies:
Join the Cleveland West Road Runners Club (CWRRC) for the 6th running of the Spring in the Park Women's 10K and a 5K race option giving you your choice in distance. This growing event celebrates the active female runner of all abilities and is a great way to kick off your Spring season.  The course is entirely in the beautiful Cleveland Metroparks on smooth and fast roads.  The start/finish and post-race festivities are at South Mastick Picnic Area near Fairview Park in the Metropark.  Common start time for both races of 8:30a.m. on Saturday, May 2nd.

​1st 300 registrants will receive terrific visor with paid entry. 

Walkers are welcome and walkers in the 10K have the option of an earlier start.
Aid stations and lots of cheering fans along the way. The races are chip timed and live streaming of results is available.   Following the races there will be food, music, awards, a raffle, and fun for all runners.  The Overall winner, first Master and first Grand Master receive custom necklaces and the top 3 in each age group will receive sweet bracelet awards.  Discount to CWRRC members.

If you are interested or planning to walk the course, 10K walkers will be able to start at 8:00 AM allowing more time to finish and enjoy the post-race activities. 5K walkers can start at 8:30 AM with main race start. Announcements will be made prior to the 8:00 AM walk start. We will need to record your bib number PRIOR to your start, so make yourself known to a race official.

[Info for 2017]: Is your New Year's resolution to get fit? Then  plan to show off those buff legs on April 9th at the 3rd annual CWRRC Spring in the Park 10K.  Starting 8:30a.m. in the Cleveland Metroparks near the Mastick Pavillion, the race is flat and fast.  The first 300 registrants will receive special "swag" and overall winners in 3 age categories and the age group winners will win jewelry.  Grab a girlfriend, sister, mother, daughter, any girl you know and start training. Register now at discounted prices! Chip timed!

Don’t forget Happy Hour Registration and Packet-Pickup on April 1st 2015 at our sponsor Second Sole of Rocky River 19341 Detroit Road. Starting at 5:30 pm, Bill will keep his store open until 8:00 pm with 15% discount on shoes and apparel to registered runners. Have a glass of wine and light snack while talking with area runners Liz Ferro and Kathy Dugan, as well as reviewing the benefits of yoga with Gina O’Shea. It was an awesome time last year.
